No Time To Die (2021) But Is It Time To Stream?

With the much delayed release of the 25th James Bond film, No Time to Die now deferred until October 2021, can audiences put up with another delay or should distributors look to make the film available on streaming services if the new date in the autumn has to shift as well.

Daniel Craig has been the most successful Bond at the box office, helping to project his films in the franchise to over $1 billion in theatre takings for each new release. It’s little wonder distributors are nervous about going to theatres too early, especially with COVID lockdown restrictions cutting cinema opening hours and audiences.

We take a close look at the much anticipated new Bond film, Daniel Craig’s last in the role, review the trailer, look ahead to what we can expect on the big screen later in the year and make the case for opening it up to audiences online if further delays are forced upon the distributors.
