Review – The Curse of La Llorona (2019), Linda Cardellini, Raymond Cruz, Patricia Velásquez
The Curse of La Llorona is a low-budget supernatural horror film directed by Michael Chaves in his directorial debut. The film is set in Los Angeles in 1973 and is based on a Mexican folklore tale. The story follows a mother who attempts to save her children from a malicious ghost that has been trapped for 300 years, destined to roam the earth, seeking children to steal and drown.
