Brian Reynolds, a Former Runner at Hammer Films, Joins FILM TALK

Let me introduce you to Brian Reynolds, who has joined our line-up of FILM TALK contributors. Brian spent a lifetime in the film business, starting out as a runner at Hammer Films in the late 1960s, before joining Technicolor.

As one half of the Hammer Runners he co-authored the amazing book, Running Scared, with Phil Campbell, which goes behind the scenes of Hammer Films and in the late 60s and early 70s, from a runner’s point of view.

Brian has a great selection of films he wants to add to our list of the 100 greatest films ever made, in our opinion. The first is Sidney Lumet’s classic 1957 courtroom drama, 12 Angry Men, with plenty more to come, including The Guns of Navarone and It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad World.

FILM TALK is all about the greatest films ever made, at least the greatest films in our opinion. Each week we add another title to our growing list, aiming to compile what we think are the 100 greatest films of all time. Check out our list, so far, here.
